The official exhibit opening of "Ten Million Steps" will take place at the Acadian Museum in Miscouche on October 15 at 2 p.m. This exhibit tells the story of Henry "Hank" Gallant of Nail Pond, the first to travel across Canada on the TransCanada Highway on foot from British Columbia to Newfoundland.  Inspired as a child when seeing a map of Canada in his classroom, he trains himself for years to accomplish this feat in the year of Canada's centennial.  Come listen to Henry himself tell some of his adventures as well as songs he composed on his trip.
