The PEI French Health Network offers prizes to students in the health field through its 2024 promotional campaign!

The Health Network awards two $1,500 prizes to Prince Edward Island Francophone or Francophile students enrolled in a post-secondary health program. A $500 prize is also awarded to a French-speaking student from outside the province or country who will be pursuing studies in the health field at an Island institution.

Those who register on the PEIFHN’s health student database automatically become eligible to win one of two $1,500 prizes and the $500 prize for 2024–2025. Furthermore, when they register on the Health Network’s database, students are kept informed of training and employment opportunities in Prince Edward Island.

One of the prizes will be awarded to a first-year student who is starting a health-related program at a post-secondary institution in the 2024–2025 academic year. Another prize will be awarded to a student who has already started a post-secondary program in health and will be continuing their studies. The last prize will be awarded to an individual from outside the province or country, enrolled in a post-secondary health program on the Island.

Every year, the Health Network shares its list of students with the Department of Health and Wellness’s Recruitment and Retention Secretariat, which also informs students of training and employment opportunities in the province.

Interested students have until Friday, May 31 at midnight to fill out the participation form on the Health Network’s web site at www.santeipe.ca/etudiants-en-sante. The prizes will be randomly drawn in early June 2024 among all applications received.

For more information on the prizes or on the health student database, please contact Christian Gallant by calling 902-439-0126 or by sending an e-mail to info@santeipe.ca.
